Johnie Ray Cravens, of Troy, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper.
Johnie was born December 24, 1964, the oldest son of Julius and Janice (King) Cravens.
He grew up in many locations but built a life in Rockport. Johnie was known by all for his sense of humor, and his generosity to any and all people.
Johnie was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald Cravens and Pat Cravens; his grandson, Johnie Maverick Cravens; and many others.
He is survived by his children, Heather Cravens (Dennis Henderson) of Rockport and Dane (Star) Cravens of Troy; his grandchildren, Gavin Henderson, Landyn Henderson, Rayden Cravens, Kysen Cravens, Karsyn Cravens and Kaeslyn Cravens; his brother, Jeff Cravens of Hatfield; along with many other nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later time. The family will share details regarding the time, date, and location once arrangements are finalized.
