The South Spencer Kiwanis Club put its Avenue of Flags up along the Courthouse in time for the Fourth of July holiday, as it regularly does before important dates. Each flag honors a distinguished local resident, or is dedicated to veterans as a whole. To sponsor a flag, call 812-649-2291.
