Cathy Peyton, 63, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
She was born March 30, 1959 in Evansville.
Cathy worked for many years as a veterinary assistant in Evansville. For the last 14 years she worked for RMI in Rockport.
Cathy loved spending time with her dogs, watching the hummingbirds and taking care of her flowers. She was a very giving person who always thought of others before herself. On her birthday Cathy always brought her mother a gift as a thank-you for giving birth to her. She would much rather give than receive.
She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her mother, Paula Peyton; her fur babies, Little Bit and Missy; her aunt, Vicki Watson; her sisters, Cindy Myhalyk (Mac), Candace Peyton and Crista Adamson (Kent); and her brother, Craig Peyton (Angie). She is also survived by six nieces and nephews and two great-nephews.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Marvin E. Peyton, in 2000.
Per Cathy’s wishes there will be no funeral services. Expressions of sympathy can be made to any animal rescue or animal charity.
