It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
And the town of Chrisney is celebrating with its annual Winter Fest on Saturday, December 7. The free event will be held at Chrisney Park from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
The Chrisney Winter Festival will feature pictures with Santa, cookies and milk, balloon animals, and fun activities — including the ever popular Candy Cane Hunt and Santa’s Fun Run!
The Candy Cane Hunt is open to kids up to 11 years old, with contestants competing in their respective age groups (2 and under, 3-4 years, 4-6 years and 7-11 years). Bring your own stocking for the hunt!
And Santa will lead the way during Santa’s Fun Run, which starts at Chrisney Elementary at 9:30 a.m. and ends at Chrisney Park (approximately one mile away). No registration is required for the Fun Run, and all ages are welcome to participate!
The Chrisney Winter Festival is fun for the whole family and is sponsored by Chrisney Civic Association, Chrisney Parks Department, Chrisney Volunteer Fire Department, Chrisney Friends of Lincoln Heritage Public Library, and area churches.
