Coach Harris is not blessed with an over abundance of height but has some very capable scoring power returning from last season. Heading the list will be Stan Guth, a 5-11 junior who has already earned himself two letters in basketball. He led the scoring parade last season with a total of 317 points in spite of the fact that he was sidelined with illness for two games.

Tom Arnold, a 5-11 senior is also a returning veteran and a consistent scorer last season. Tom Winkler 6-1 senior was a starter last season along with Gary Grundhoefer 5-8 senior.

Biggest man in size and weight is a transfer student, Norm Mehling at 220 pounds, non of which is considered excess weight. Norm played basketball at Ferdinand during his sophomore year on the reserve squad and transferred to Dale last year. He outweighs an man on the team by 50 pounds and should be a very handy man to have under the baskets.

Also on the top ten this season will be Larry Estes, a 5-11 junior; Roger Forler, same size and class; Wayne Rudy. also a 5-11 junior; Dick Walker a 6 ft junior and Dennis Weber a 5-8 junior.

The Aces were building last season and ended with an 8-12 record. With four seniors and six juniors on the squad this season, the Golden Aces should show power for at least two straight seasons.

Cheerleaders this season are Kathleen Grundhoefer, Nancy Kifer, Connie Brown, and Trudy Winkler. Student managers are Ronald Heady, Greg Shelton and Danny Schum.

Season tickets will remain on sale at the office of School principal during school hours. Student tickets are priced at $2.25 and adult tickets $4.50.
