Dorothy Jean Harris, 90, of Eureka, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Dorothy was born in Rockport on July 19, 1930, to the late Riley Hayden and Alma (Carter) Hayden Williams.
She was a member of Bakers Creek Baptist Church and had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Curtis Harris; her step-parents, E.M. Williams and Polly Hayden; her daughter, Beverly Ling; her great-grandson, Tanner Lee Goffinet; and her sons-in-law, Fred Isaac and Andy Ling.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Donald Wayne Harris and his wife, Susan, of Rockport, Pamela Isaac of Hatfield, and Marsha Kay Harris of Eureka; grandchildren, Mark Ling and his wife, Melissa, Joey Ling and his wife, Carrie, Ashley Ling, Jonathan Harris and his wife, Dara, Ryan Harris and his wife, Emily, Leisa Haines, Missy Goffinet and her husband, Aaron, and Rachel Southerland and her husband, Landon; great-grandchildren, Rileigh, Trevor, Brooklyn, Addison, Logan, Caleb, Ethan, Dakota, Sam, Wade, Chelsea, Taylor, Trenton, Hannah, Braxton, and Olivia; great-great-grandchildren, Karl, Lander, Lykin, and Hoyt; and sister, Thelma Owens.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow in James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
