Brian Paris, pled guilty to domestic battery (count 1), level 6 felony; strangulation (count 2), level 6 felony; and giving a false identity statement (count 3), class A misdemeanor; sentenced to 730 days in DCSC in each of counts 1 and 2, to run concurrently and with credit for 126 days served and 126 days good time credit, and 365 days in DCSC in count 3 (to run consecutively to sentences in counts 1 and 2), with defendant to serve 478 days on Dubois County Work Release Program, undergo clinical assessment with state-certified mental health provider and complete all recommended treatment, pay fines and costs.

Charles C. Allen, found not guilty of child molesting.

Matthew J. Spindler, pled guilty to intimidation, class A misdemeanor; sentenced to 365 days in DCSC, with credit for two days served and two days good time credit, remaining time suspended to 361 days supervised probation, no contact with Nathan Verkamp, undergo clinical assessment with mental health provider and comply with all recommended treatment, pay fines and costs.

Derek Smith, pled guilty to strangulation (count 1), level 6 felony, and domestic battery (count 2), class A misdemeanor; sentenced to 400 days in DCSC in count 1 and 365 days in count 2, to run concurrently and with credit for one day served and one day good time credit, remaining time suspended to 398 days supervised probation, enroll in and complete Batterers Intervention Program, pay fines and costs.

Curry, pled guilty to causing serious bodily injury when operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (count 1), level 5 felony; possession of marijuana (count 3), class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia (count 4), class C misdemeanor; sentenced to 1,095 days in the Indiana Department of Correction in count 1, 180 days in DCSC in count 3 and 60 days in DCSC in count 4, to run concurrently and with credit for seven days served, leaving 730 days suspended to supervised probation to be transferred to Henderson County, KY and remaining 365 days to serve on home detention with GPS monitoring, driver’s license suspended one year, no contact with Frank Fettinger and Ashley Dillon and pay restitution to same, shall not possess or consume alcohol or controlled substances, submit to and pass random alcohol/drug screenings, pay fines and costs.

Zachary B. Hamilton, pled guilty to unlawful possession or use of a legend drug (count 1), level 6 felony; possession of a narcotic drug (count 2), level 6 felony; and possession of paraphernalia (count 5), class C misdemeanor; sentenced to 365 days in DCSC in each of counts 1 and 2 and 60 days in count 5, to run concurrently, with credit for two days served, remaining time to serve on 361 days on Work Release, pay fines and costs.

Damon M. Dant, pled guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction within seven years (count 1), level 6 felony, and driving while suspended (count 3), class A misdemeanor; sentenced to 365 days in DCSC, with credit for 77 days served, leaving 144 days (77 days if good time credit is earned) to serve in DCSC (this portion of defendant’s sentence is complete) and remaining 221 days (110 days if good time credit is earned) to serve on Work Release, driver’s license suspended 365 days, pay fines and costs.
