Christmas Eve run

At 9:36 a.m. Christmas Eve morning, Ferdinand Fire Department was called to Liebering Dimensions to a report of a possible saw dust bin fire. Management on scene told firefighters he believed there to be a fire in a bin holding saw dust that feeds a boiler. Upon further investigation, no visible fire was found; it is believed that a smoldering fire was deep inside of the bin near where saw dust is augured outside and that after the equipment was shut off, the fire may have stopped since air flow inside was shut down. Personnel from Liebering were on scene and were able to extract the saw dust and fix broken parts. Ferdinand Fire Department was on scene for approximately 2.5 hours, with six trucks and 23 personnel. Ferdinand Police and Memorial EMS also assisted.
