All branches of German American Bank has been serving customers through drive-up lanes, on the phone, and through digital banking services during this period of disruption.

On Monday, June 15, they again began providing lobby service.

They’ve made alterations for everyone’s protection.

• Protective shields were placed in front of designated service areas to minimize contact.

• Floor graphics were placed for visitors to safely physically distance from one another.

• Hand sanitizing stations will be available.

• Deposit tickets and product and service information packets will be available only by request.

The employees will wear masks while serving you, will sanitize hands and work stations frequently, and will complete health assessments before reporting to work.

The number of people inside the lobbies may be limited at any given time.

Bathrooms are closed to the public, and no coffee or other refreshments will be served at this time.

Do not extend your hand for a handshake.

Depending on the office layout, you may find a greeter at the door who will be monitoring the number of individuals in the facility or asking that you briefly remove your mask for proper identification. Also, due to the physical restriction of some locations, you may find the doors locked. Instructions on how to gain access to service will be available.

GAB officials strongly recommend customers wear a mask to help protect employees and other customers. You will be asked to briefly lower your mask and present an ID to be identified. Those who are uncomfortable with this should continue using the drive up service.

If you feel ill, do not enter the lobby. You can be served through drive-up lanes, Online and Mobile Banking services, or on the phone.
