Geraldine “GG” Green, 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Brentwood Healthcare in Evansville, where she resided, surrounded by family.
Geraldine was born June 11, 1948, to Jeanette and James Dick Miller.
Geraldine and her late husband, Marvin, owned a church where they served the homeless and preached about God every day. She knew how to light up a room even in the darkest time. She was funny and loved making people laugh and was the best mom and grandmother anyone could ever ask for.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Marvin Green; her twin brother Gerald, brothers Adam, Jerry and Buddy Miller; and life- long friend and father to her kids, William Staats.
She is survived by her children, Mary (Brian) Freeman, Wanda (Peter) Murphy, Anna Lopez, and Judy (Roger) Green; 10 grandkids and lots of great-grandkids whom she loved dearly; her brother, Joe (Fay) Miller; and her sister, Josephine (Gary) Bratcher.

Services are 12 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Jason Toler officiating.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
