Imogene Dauby, 96, passed away August 19, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital Evansville.

She was born February 21, 1925, to the late Otto and Addie (Brinkman) Poellein in Santa Claus. Imogene married Cleatis Dauby on June 10, 1947. 

As a member of, St. Paul Catholic Church she enjoyed working church events and the CCW. She also enjoyed family gatherings, her grandchildren’s sporting events and being a 4H Leader.

Surviving are her children, Kathleen Kleemann and JR Dauby of Tell City, and Dorothy (Craig) McKenzie of Indianapolis; a sister, Jane Stutsman of Boonville; five grandchildren, Derek (Kristin) Kleemann, Scott and Sara Mckenzie, Natalie (Richard) Buckler, Kari (Alan) Duran; six great-grandchildren Elijah, Gabe, Emma Kleemann, Jaxton Buckler, Gavin, and Nicholas Mckenzie.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cleatis; two brothers John and Howard Pollein; two sisters, Delores Painter and Helena Metcalf; and a grandson, Zach Kleemann.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Hollowell officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
