Jean Eileen Blake, 82, of Dale, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, at Willowdale Village in Dale. Jean was born on September 9, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to James and Ann (Sutton) Coyle.
Surviving are one son, Wayne (Dana) Blake of Santa Claus; two daughters, Sally Blake of Whiting and Crystal (Jay) Skaggs of Morehead, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Bass of Mississippi and Joyce Coyle of Illinois.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Maureen Bicek, and one grandson, Jacob Skaggs.
A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Nicholas Church on Wednesday, November 26. Burial followed in the Parish Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
