Jerry Allen McMahan, 41, of Tell City, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 at his home.
Jerry was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, on August 30, 1979, to the late Jerry Allen Neighbors and Rita (Alvey) Texas.
Jerry loved car racing, fishing, and was a Dale Earnhardt fan.
In addition to his father, Jerry was preceded in death by two sisters, Jessica Neighbors and Cindy Neighbors; his grandparents, Robert and Eunice Alvey and J.W. and Mae Neighbors.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Terra Pearey; his parents, James and Rita Texas; his children, Hannah McMahan, Ovie McMahan, Sebastian McMahan, Timothy Pearey (Summer), Jaydon Pearey (Skye), Jacob Pearey (Tori), Melissa Rhone, Gabby Meredith, Brittney Nix, and Heavan Nix; six grandchildren; his brothers, Vernon Alvey, George Texas, James Texas, and Richard Texas; his sisters, Gladys Alvey, Amelia Martinez, Diana Willison, and Nancy Russelberg; several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Walter Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is 12 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
