Larry Lee Gogel, 62, of St. Meinrad, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Larry was born October 23, 1963 in Dubois County to Zeno and Pauline (Waninger) Gogel.
Larry was retired from the Carpenters Union. A member of the Indiana National Guard, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and was a member of the Perry County Horseman’s Club.
Larry is survived by his children, T.J. Henry, Brian Gogel, Harmonie Wargel, Katie Layou, Noah Gogel, Pauline Gogel and Grace Gogel; five sisters, Bernadette Linne, Marilyn Hagedorn, Joann Klem, Bernice Spurr and Linda Gogel; eight brothers, Francis, Don, Alfred, Gerald “Jerry”, Michael, Dan, Paul and Dean Gogel; and 14 grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father.
