Laura Elizabeth Bailey, 61, of Rockport, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Laura was born on December 8, 1964, in Carrollton County, Kentucky to James and Billie (Harlow) Popp. She loved school and was a 1983 graduate of South Spencer High School. Laura had worked in accounting for various companies, including Habitat for Humanity of Owensboro. She had also worked as a night manager for IGA in Rockport.
Laura loved nature, traveling, camping, and music, and enjoyed time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bailey; a daughter; four grandchildren; and her father, James Popp.
Laura is survived by her children, James Adams, John Adams (Erin), William Bailey (Kristie), and Mahala Bailey; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Billie Popp; her sister, Saundra Beard (Robert); and many extended family and friends.
Services were held Thursday, April 2, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Mike Johnsey officiating.
