The Lincoln Pioneer Village and Museum will hold its annual Fall Heritage Day Saturday, October 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The replica 19th Century village will come to life with costumed interpreters, period demonstrators, kids activities, authors, artists and a visit from storyteller Susan Fowler.

The museum will include a new exhibit as well. Dan Rininger recently donated an original framed copy of a list of Company K 25th Indiana Infantry Volunteers, organized in Rockport under Colonel James Veatch. It lists a number of locals from 1861 and 1862. Also on temporary display will be Abe Lincoln’s powder horn from 1832.

Vendors will also have food, books and crafts for sale. Admission will be $5 per adult and $3 for seniors and children younger than 12.
