Penny Renna (Goodwin) Naegele, 58, of Richland, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
Penny was born on April 6, 1967, to Robert and Rosalee (Wilson) Goodwin.
Penny was a 1985 graduate of South Spencer High School and had worked as a manager at Schnuck’s.
In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her four siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Naegele; her son, Eddie Naegele; and her grandson, Brady Naegele.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial will follow at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
