Phil Duane Fulks, 87, of Rockport, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Phil was born in Eureka on September 1, 1938, to Henry and June (Deeg) Fulks.
He graduated from Luce Township High School, where he excelled at baseball, basketball, and football. He enjoyed raising quarter horses and pug dogs, having morning coffee with his friends, and watching I.U. basketball.
He had worked at ALCOA as a crane operator, retiring after 35 years of service.
In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his brother, Jan Fulks, his grandson, Andrew Christopher Fulks, and his daughter-in-law, Paula Fulks.
Phil is survived by his children, Patrick Timothy Fulks (Wendy) of Louisiana, Phillip Gregory Fulks (Laurie) of Florida, and Keith Alan “Willy” Fulks (Chasidy), of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Megan Fulks Hill (Jonathan), Cory Daniel Fulks (Christian), Ryan Michael Fulks (Morgan), Aaron Daniel Fulks, Madison Paige Fulks, Keith Alan Fulks Jr. and granddaughter-in-law, Katie Fulks Cornell; 10 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Terry Fulks (Sharon); sister-in-law, Pat Fulks; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Services were held Monday, March 9, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Burial followed at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.
