Following a one year hiatus, the Dale Fall Festival returned for a cool, sunny three-days of fun!

Though the September 15th edition of Spencer County Leader featured a few highlights of the fest, more glimpses can be found here.

The Heritage Hills Cheerleaders made an appearance!
The Heritage Hills Dance Team, known as the Patriettes, were also in attendance, and performed!
This little miss was perched on a picnic table awaiting the start of the Little Miss and Mister Contest on Thursday evening.
Contestant Charley James was crowned Little Miss for the 3-4 age group. She was dressed as a veterinarian.
Gabriel Perez, dressed as a police officer, won Mister! Hudson Suiter, dressed as a construction worker, was the runner-up!
The winners of the Little Miss and Mister contest celebrated with their trophies!
Crowds lined up to watch the 53rd annual Dale Fall Festival Parade on Saturday, September 11th – also known as Patriot Day.
Carter Fire District volunteers served as Grand Marshals for the parade. Members of the department tossed red rubber balls to the crowd lining Medcalf Street.
The Labor Day Association float, decked out in flags and finery, strolled down the street.
The Leibering 9/11 Memorial.
Amazon John of Silly safari introduced crowds of interested festival attendees to a menagerie of wildlife.
A Yellow-Billed Kite was also among the animals featured in Amazon John’s show!
In addition to other activities, festival attendees were able to enjoy some rides.
