Rockport Elementary students got a head start on their Halloween Weekend Friday as the school resumed its traditional Halloween Walk down Main Street. Held last year in the school gym, this year’s event was greeted with fair weather and beautiful fall scenery. The breeze was cool enough to keep those in heavy costumes from cooking, and the sun was warm enough to keep things comfortable for those decked out for convenient foot travel. Some students even soldiered down Main Street in bulky, inflatable costumes.
