The city of Rockport hosted a parade of high school graduates Friday, giving the South Spencer High School Class of 2023 a proper send off ahead of their Saturday commencement ceremony. Students lined up alone or in small groups in a wide assortment of vehicles, taking the usual parade route around the Spencer County Courthouse and back down Main Street to Rockport City Park. A celebratory banner was hoisted outside city hall.
