The Spencer County Solid Waste Management District (SWMD) office, located at 918 E CR800N Chrisney, will be open Saturday, September 19, from 8–11:30 a.m. for a Resident Shred It Day. This event is not for businesses.
E-waste (TVs, computers, etc.), tires and HHW items (paint/chemicals) will be accepted also. A fee will be charged for e-waste and tires; HHW and shredding items will be accepted for free. There is a 100 lb. limit per vehicle for shredding. Cash only will be accepted for special program fees; no trash tags will be accepted.
