Rome’s Fall Heritage Fest

The Rome Community Center and the Friends of the 1818 Rome Courthouse have scheduled the annual Fall Heritage Fest during Courthouse Days for Sunday, October 4. The event will feature homemade dinners and baked goods, fun demonstrations and children’s activities, as well as a tour of the oldest courthouse in Indiana from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Other activities will include a Historical Art Show contest, Decorated Hay Bale contest, and a Car Parade Photo Booth.

Live music will be provided by Eryn Sommer from 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The Rome Historic Guided Walking Tour will start at the boat ramp. This tour lasts about an hour-and-a-half, weather permitting, with time to be determined.

Artisan and informational booths will be set up on the Courthouse lawn. Booths are $10 per vendor; if interested in setting up, contact Karin Gibson at 812-719-8418 or kewgibson@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
