Ronald James Zoglman, 73, of Tell City, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born on February 7, 1952, to Clarence and Frances (Daming) Zoglman. After his mother’s passing, Ron was raised by his stepmother Lorine (Gehlhausen) Zoglman. He was united in marriage on January 27, 1980, to Brenda Peters, and they shared 28 years together before her passing in 2008.
Ron was a self-employed mason. He was a member and former board member of the Fulda Sportsman Club, Spencer County Memorial Forest, and Fulda Ballpark. Ron loved to spend time with his family and friends, sitting on the porch on warm nights with cool beverages. His hobbies included golfing, fishing, farming, and restoring his 1967 GTO.
Ron is survived by his companion, Debbie Snively of Tell City; his children, Katie Zoglman King (Chris Morrison) of Tell City, Adam Zoglman of Tell City, Jeremy Thompson (Patricia) of Derby, Matt Snively of Carmel, and Kyle Snively of Tennyson; grandchildren, Addison Thompson, Clayton Thompson, Nolan King, Trenton Zoglman, Mallory King, Thomas McCallister, Kenneth McCallister, Bailey Snively, Clayton Snively, Summer Snively and Skylyn Snively; one great-grandson, Carter James Thompson; siblings, Millie Dauby, Henry Bruggeman (Margaret), Randy Zoglman (Kathy), Mary Knepper (Dwight), Elaine Voges and Joan Fischer (Doug Winchell).
In addition to his parents, stepmother, and his wife, Ron was preceded in death by his siblings, Vivian Flynn, Al Bruggeman, Marcia Zoglman, Kathy Webb, and Laura Zoglman, and a grandson, Tyler Zoglman.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda, with Fr. Anthony Vinson officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday May 28, from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 to 9:15 a.m. at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
