The Santa Claus Optimist Club held its annual Tri-Star Football Contest on Saturday, October 10, at the Heritage Hills High School football field. Over 50 kids participated — both boys and girls through age 13 who came out and showed their skills in punting, passing and kicking. Parents and grandparents also came out to watch and cheer on their children. Certificates were presented to all participants and medals were awarded to the first, second and third place winners. The winners by age and school are listed below.
GIRLS
Under 8: 1st place, Isabella Smith (David Turnham); 2nd place, Quinn Boyd (Lincoln Trail).
