As of Monday, March 1, the Spencer County Health Department recorded a total of 2,299 cases of COVID-19, seven new since the last report on Saturday, February 27. There are currently 13 individuals in home isolation and 2,257 have recovered. The death toll remains at 28.
On Tuesday, March 2, the Indiana State Department of Health recorded six new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 5,916. Since last Friday, 20 additional cases had been reported – four on Saturday, nine on Sunday and seven on Monday. There have been no additional deaths; the total stands at 111.
