Rear-end collision
Christopher Tuck, 23, of Evansville, was eastbound on SR 66 when, he told authorities, he began to slow his speed due to vehicles in front of him also slowing down; as he lowered his speed, his 2007 Jeep Wrangler was struck from behind by a 2014 Nissan Sentra driven by 82-year-old Archie Keown of Richland. Keown advised authorities at the scene that he did not notice that Tuck had slowed, and he was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting the Jeep. Neither driver was injured in the October 6, 3:34 p.m. collision near Richland. Total damages were estimated between $5,000-10,000.
