Students, parents, and faculty at St. Bernard Catholic School came together for a back-to-school bash Wednesday evening, August 3. Kids had a chance to meet their teachers, check out their classrooms, and drop off their supplies for the coming year. When that business was done, there were plenty of activities going on outside to help end summer vacation on a high note. In addition to games, there were free snow cones, hamburgers, hot dogs, and other refreshments to keep up energy for the party. Principal Ryan Nowak noted there are a lot of first-time students this year, with enrollment higher than at any point since 2014.
