Graduate Amelia Wendholt, age four, sits with mom and dad, Abbey and Tyler and sisters Marilyn and Ann Wendholt Chairs were lined up along the sidewalk with each graduates name along with popcorn and goodies that one would be able to find at a drive in, which fit perfectly for this drive in graduation. Anna Wirthwein (5) daughter of Eric Wirthwein and Laura Mehling wears a huge smile as they pull up to greet her teacher. Evelyn age four and Lucien age seven Seckinger children of Jill and Eric Seckinger pose together as they celebrate Evelyns graduation. Kade Hildenbrand age 5 son of Nick and Janice Hildenbrand smiles for the camera as he waits for his name to be called to graduate. Naomi Boeglin age five daughter of Danny and Nettie Boeglin sits on top of her parents convertible as she watches her classmates graduate. Paisley Goepfrich, age five, daughter of Tonya and Eric Goefrich, waits by her car as she prepares to graduate.
On Thursday May 7, Saint Henry Preschool held their Graduation in the form of a drive-in. Preschool Teacher Brenda Buechler felt that something as special as this needed to be celebrated despite COVID-19 while still socially distancing. So she thought, “Why not have a drive in so they could all still celebrate together, but do it from the safety of their cars?”
