Grover Lee Miller, 74, of Chrisney, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
Grover was born in Chrisney, on March 31, 1947, to the late Cecil and Hattie (Fisher) Miller.
Grover retired from the Indiana National Guard, where he had earned the rank of Captain. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and Rockport Masonic Lodge No. 112. He was also very active in the community.
He had owned and operated Miller Hardware in Chrisney for many years, and had also worked at Kimball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, MeloDee Ann Miller, and his brother, Howard Roger Miller.
Grover is survived by his children, Todd Miller, and Greg Miller and his wife, Nicole; his grandchildren, Logan Miller and Drew Miller; several extended family members and friends.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday, August 27, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home- Youngblood Chapel, 36 E. Market St., Chrisney, with Pastor Steve Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation is from 4 until 8 p.m., Thursday, August 26, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
