Samantha “Sam” Nichole Beckner, 27, of Gentryville, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.
Sam was born in Jasper on July 22, 1996, to Beth (Goffinet) Bass.
Sam was a 2015 graduate of Perry Central High School and had worked at Dollar General in Chrisney. She loved doing nail art and photography, but her most beloved achievement was her family, especially her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Joyce M. Goffinet, and her aunt, Karrie Moore.
Sam is survived by her husband, Kyle W.E. Beckner; her daughter, Ariana Bailey; her mother, Beth Bass (William Dedrick); her brother, Mark A. Karpowicz (Tashia); her sister, Amber Curtis (Jarick Springer); her grandfather, Robert W. Goffinet; her nephews, Brayden and Cameron Karpowicz; and her uncles, Robbie Goffinet and Danny Parr.
Services are 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home-Youngblood Chapel, 36 E Market St., Chrisney, with Tim Garrett officiating.
Visitation is from 12 until 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Chrisney.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or National Breast Cancer Foundation.
