Austin James Ball, 29, of Spencer County, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022.

Austin was born in Traverse City, Michigan on June 23, 1992, to Jamie Ball and Angela (Beatty) Ward.

A 2011 graduate of South Spencer High School, he was a power plant operator at Alcoa Warrick Operations and a member of the IBEW Union.

Austin was a proud, loving father of three beautiful daughters, Daylinn, age 11, Khloe, age 7, and Presley, 1 1/2 months. He was also a protective big brother to Martin and Coltin. Austin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he loved Raiders football, playing darts, listening to music and playing video games. His family and friends meant everything to him. Austin was very passionate about life and was a proud father. He was someone you could go to for anything without judgment. He saw the good in everyone and never met a stranger. He will be remembered by family and friends as an honest, wonderful, loving soul with a beautiful heart. He lived life to the fullest, with many stories to tell. He will be dearly missed and forever and always in their hearts.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Billie Lutricia (Phegley) Ball of Kalkaska, MI and his grandfather, Minuard Rowland Ball of Lake City, MI. 

Austin is survived by his mother and stepfather, Angela (Beatty) Ward and Eddie Ward; his father and stepmother, Jamie and Karrie Ball; his daughters, Daylinn Faye Ball, Khloe Jo Ball and Presley Josephine Ball and her mother, Amber Lashley; his brothers, Martin Lee Winkler, and his fiancée, Allison Bickel, and Coltin Jon Winkler and his fiancée, Jessica Burden; his grandparents, Arthur (Gail) and Ramona Beatty; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Memorial services will be held Friday, June 24, at 5 p.m., with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of services at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Rev. Carl Jones officiating. Burial will be at a later date for family and close friends at James Parker Cemetery in Hatfield.

Memorial contributions can be made for the education and future of his three loving daughters at Boultinghouse Funeral Home.
