The Dale branch of Lincoln Heritage Public Library is getting a new paint job over the next several weeks, with the children’s library closed to the public for the duration of the project. Craig and Sons Painting and Decorating of Tell City spent much of last week sealing off the books and furniture in that wing, followed by an extensive painting job. The work began with stripping old wallpaper and glue, sanding down the walls, and applying a fresh coat of paint, along with other repairs. Work in the children’s wing should be substantially complete by the end of this week. Sections of the rest of the library will be similarly closed off until painting is complete throughout the building.

“We’ll be here for a few weeks,” said Joseph Craig of Craig and Sons.
