David M. Litkenhus, 61, of Jasper, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
He was born on December 27, 1959, in Huntingburg, to the late Leo and Donna (Hunter) Litkenhus.
David had been the owner of a construction business in Jacksonville, Florida. He never met a stranger.
He is survived by his sons, David Litkenhus and Mark Litkenhus (Stacy Taylor); his grandson, Finn Owen; his brothers, Tom Litkenhus and his wife, Dianne, of Chrisney, Steve Litkenhus and his wife, Diane, of Chrisney, and Bob Litkenhus and his wife, Kim, of Chrisney; his sisters, Carolyn Ambs and her husband, Bob, of Gentryville and Linda Mitchell and her husband, Aaron, of Jasper; many nieces and nephews; and a special person in his life, Lisa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Litkenhus and Danny Litkenhus.
Services for David Litkenhus will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home- Youngblood Chapel in Chrisney. Burial will follow at St. Martin I Cemetery in Centerville.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
