Santa Claus Legion Memorial Day service times
Santa Claus American Legion will hold memorial services at several local cemeteries this Sunday, May 24, in observance of Memorial Day.
Legionnaires will depart the Post Home at 7:05 a.m.Services will be at the following locations and times: 7:20 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi in Santa Claus; 7:45 a.m. at Santa Claus United Methodist Campground; 8:15 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi in Mariah Hill; 9 a.m. at Oakhill in Chrisney; 9:30 a.m. at Little Pigeon (County Road 1250); 10 a.m. at St. John’s in Clay City; 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Zion (Conners); 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Lamar; and 11:40 a.m. at Buffaloville Cemetery (County Road 475 E).
St. Meinrad Legion Memorial Day service times
St. Meinrad American Legion Post 366 will hold several services to honor local fallen veterans this weekend. All services will take place on Sunday, May 24.
Members should meet for coffee and donuts at the Legion Post Home at 6:15 a.m. and plan to leave at 6:50 a.m. for services.Service times are: 7:10 a.m. at Siberia, 7:30 a.m. at Doolittle Mills, 8 a.m. at St. Croix, 9 a.m. at Fulda, 9:20 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran, 9:40 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic, 10 a.m. at Kratzburg and 10:25 a.m. at St. Meinrad. All times are Central.
Legionnaires will be practicing social distancing at all services.
