Patricia Joy “Pat” Harris, 92, of Richland, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at The Waters of Rockport, surrounded by family.
Pat was born in Richland on October 21, 1932, to Wallace Kebortz and Inez (Cain) Miller.
Pat was a member of Richland General Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, genealogy and playing euchre, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Marion “Doodle” Harris, and her stepfather Quay Miller.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Joyce) Harris, Delilah (Lester) Purviance, Kathy McCloud, and Tim Harris; her grandchildren, Billy Scherer, David (Lana) Scherer, Jeff (Laura) Harris, Sheri (Jason) Utz, Brad (Stacey) Weatherholt, and Rachel (Jeff) Brier; her great-grandchildren, Bryan Scherer, Caden Scherer, Brianna Scherer, Cynthia (Tristan) Williams, Luke Scherer, Nolan Harris, Delaney Harris, Emma Utz, Allie Utz, Nicholas Weatherholt and Gabbey Weatherholt; one great-great-grandchild; many extended family members and friends.
Services were held Wednesday, July 2, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, with Pastor Jimmy Haynes officiating. Burial followed at Ebenezer Cemetery in Hatfield.
