Romona  C. Lindauer, 91, of Eckerty, formerly of Jasper, passed away at 11:23 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at her home’s son in Eckerty.

She was born in Ferdinand, on February 15, 1929, to Adolph and Rose (Gehlhausen) Englert. She married Norman A. Lindauer on September 27, 1947, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Ferdinand. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2006.

She was a homemaker, then worked at Aristokraft and was a housekeeping managing supervisor at the Bavarian Inn in Jasper until retirement. After retirement she worked at the Jasper Wal-Mart.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.

She enjoyed reading and crocheting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Jane (Jerry) Fischer of Jasper, Eileen (David) Folz of Lamar and Karen (Marc Moore) Lindauer of Louisville, KY; two sons, W. Jake Lindauer of Eckerty and Doug Lindauer of Cody, WY; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Floyd (Jean) Englert and Sylvan (Rose) Englert, both of Ferdinand.

Preceding her in death besides her husband were one sister, Leatrice Englert, and one brother, Hillary Englert.

Private family services were held.
