Ruth Ann (Niehaus) Stallman, 80, of Crestview Hills, KY, formerly of Washington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. She was born on October 18, 1945, in St. Meinrad, to Amil and Agnes (Rasche) Niehaus. Ruth faced life’s many challenges with courage and grace, spending her final moments surrounded by her loving family after enduring numerous illnesses with remarkable strength.

Ruth’s greatest legacy is the family she cherished and nurtured. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Jack Stallman; her children, Brian (Valerie) Stallman, Kevin (Brenda) Stallman and Brandi Stallman; her grandchildren, Ethan, Audra, Sydney and Evan Stallman, Elizabeth (A.J.) Durnil; and her great-grandchild Olivia; brothers, Jim, Lee, Dave (Carol Jean), and John (Pam) Niehaus; her sisters, Rita (Dennis) Lovell, Cindy (Eugene) Verkamp and Brenda Dawson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brothers Tom and Frank Niehaus, her sisters-in-law Joyce and Angie, and her brother-in-law Jon Dawson.

She will be remembered for her generous spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. For 20 years, she dedicated countless hours volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul. A devoted member of Our Lady of Hope Church for over 50 years until moving to Northern Kentucky, where she became a member of St. Pius X Church, she cherished Christmas celebrations surrounded by her family, and some of her greatest joys came from watching her children and grandchildren play sports and cheering them on from the sidelines. She was an avid reader who loved traveling, spending winters in Florida, and watching game shows. Her kindness, faith, and love for family created a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 25, at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood, KY. Interment followed at Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright, KY.

Memorials are suggested in Ruth’s memory to St. Jude Research Hospital and St. Vincent DePaul, 815 E Main St., Washington, IN 47501.
