A Year of COVID-19

One year ago yesterday, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared novel coronavirus SARS CoV2 (COVID-19) a global pandemic. Five days previously, Indiana had recorded its first case of the virus.

In a year’s time, Indiana has recorded 670,074 cases and 12,382 deaths, with another 420 probable deaths from COVID-19. 

Dubois County has seen 5,960 cases and 112 deaths.

Spencer County has recorded 2,328 cases and 28 deaths.
