Spencer and Dubois County COVID-19 Reports – March 11, 2021

On Wednesday, March 10, the Indiana State Department of Health added one new case of COVID-19 in Dubois County, bringing the total to 5,951. No new deaths were reported, and the death toll remains at 112. After slipping into the Yellow last week, Dubois County is back in the Blue (low risk) zone. The numbers of cases in long-term care facilities are also updated on Wednesdays. None of the nine long-term care facilities in the county recorded any new cases or deaths last week. 

As of March 9, the Spencer County Health Department recorded a total of 2,328 cases of COVID-19, up 11 from their last report on March 4. There are currently 27 people in home isolation and 2,273 have recovered. No new deaths were reported. A total of 28 Spencer Countians have died of the virus. Long-term care facility statistics are also updated on wednesdays. No new cases or deaths were recorded in any of the three Spencer County nursing homes.
