The following students of Heritage Hills High School were named lettermen in football by coach Roger Snow at a sports Banquet held on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the community center near Chrisney:

Seniors– Dean Kneper, Tom Russel, Glan Shourds, Tom Sprinstun, Ken Guth: outstanding Offensive Back and third highest Score; Alan Meyer, Doug Herr: Defensive Linebacker, scramble blocker; Steve Kendall: offensive back and second highest team scorer., John Brown: Outstanding defensive line backer, most tackles; Rob Wibbeler, Chigger Hile: Defensive linebacker, end; Rick Winchell: most valuable player, outstanding offensive back and second leading scorer in southern Indiana; and Van Tuley: outstanding defensive lineman.

Juniors– Tony Dress, Gary Cannon, Bob Seckinger, Tim Winchell, Steve Prusz, Dan Hyfnagel, Hoyt McGuyer, Jeff Rupp: Outstanding defensive lineman and Mike Krutz.

Sophomores– Larry Prusz, Stanley Neighbors and Steve Winkler.

Managers Dave Hemmer, Rick Jones, and Dave Jochim also received letters.

Coross Country lettermen named boy coach Bernie Burk were: Mike Schaefer, Van Poehlein, Dwight Knepper, Dave Detzer, Randy Spayd, John Rutman, Randy Sergesketter, Ray Balbach, Leon Beckman and manager Allan Fischer.

Miss Charlotte Beckman was awarded the girls volleyball Kiwanis trophy. Coach Miss Stoval listed the following girls on the varsity team: Robin Braun, Paula Buechler, Gerri Collignon, Gaye Ann Estes, Kay Ann Groves, Mary Hardesty, Susan Kennedy, Debbie McCoy, Robin Motteler, Marcia Philipps, Linda Rickelman, Debra Schwindel, Kelley Snow, Kathy Wahl and Pat Wibbeler.
