Spencer and Dubois County COVID-19 Reports – February 18, 2021

Spencer County

As of February 16, the Spencer County Health Deartment recorded 2,262 cases of COVID-19, with 26 individuals in home isolation, 27 people have died of the virus and nearly 2,200 have recovered. Spencer County is being allotted 600 doses of the vaccine per week. Clinics are held at the Spencer County Courthouse on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and one Saturday clinic will be held per month. The next Saturday clinic will take place March 6 at the Spencer County Youth and Community Center in Chrisney. Subsequent clinics are planned for April 10 and May 8 at Heritage Hills High School. As of Wednesday, February 17, Spencer County retains its Orange designation.

Dubois County

For the first time in many months, the Indiana State Department of Health, on Thursday, February 18, recorded 0 new cases and 0 new deaths in Dubois County. Since March, there have been a total of 5,539 total reported cases and 106 deaths in Dubois County. And, as of Wednesday, the county was designated Yellow once again.
